The new episodes are supposed to be posted every other Friday, but that rarely ever happens. Darrius usually lets us know when something is holding up the episode, but I have not seen him post anything in quite a while. It is kind of annoying waiting a month (or more) to see what is happening, but hang in there and hopefully we will get a new episode tomorrow.

I love the episodes, and I love what CHS has done and is doing in the kingdom community. I have attended several of their functions, I have contributed to them also by telling others and bringing friends. What I have done in the kingdom is irrelevant to this discussion. This board is for comments about the soap. My comment is that I loved the episode but let's say I didn't like this week's episode, should I not voice it? Come on brothers and sisters, it isn't that deep okay? Sheesh.

I agree with SAR FAN. Words like "Hate" and "Whack" are non-christian methods of expression. I mean come on, you act as if your paying a subscription fee or something. CHS is trying to provide an alternative to the garbage that is out there on the internet, and all you people can do is focus on the negative. The discussion section asks you to commment on the episode, not the design of the site. In my opinion, if you don't have something good to say, then don't say anything at all. Stop hatin!!!

This is my first time reading The Saved and The Restless. I have to find some way to read the other episodes..I am totally in love with this. It is such a breather to read soap operas in the Lord. I am so addicted. A friend of my forwarded me this link and I first thought...'Is she serious?!? A christian Soap Opera?' I read the current episode and then...I WAS HOOKED! I immediately started from the beginning and read every single episode in like 2 days. I am so ashamed. LOL. This is an awesome soap, and really filled with amazing examples of God's love and grace. I do not think that David and Lakeesha's relationship is going to work out for much longer because she brings too much drama to the table like the whole thing with PayDay. But David is a sweet man, and continues to try to progress and do better. Season II is starting of great! But on a side note, does anyone know why PayDay is so big in Dolandale? and who his true identity is because he runs the city like they Mayor or something. Also, I hope Joyce does not marry Franklin because he is a mess and will soon be caught up....Hopefully! Im staying tuned!!!

I don't think she was pregnant by Rev. Gilmore, I believe he is leaving because he feels as though his life is in shambles and that he has damaged his relationship with God beyond repair but if we confess our sins He is faithful and just enough to forgive us. God has made a covenant with the Rev as well as Kendall and He is not man that he can lie so that means he cannot go against His Word.

I was hoping that you showed Chris breaking down showing that he's real sorry for everything he ever done just before the marriage or him crying because she loved him unconditionally and still believed in what he couldn't see himself A REAL MAN. It just made him look like he scored again using his manipulative ways. I'm quite sure if they're in season two it will be more drama and he will end up losing everything. There came baby # 2 and #3, no college degree and the luxury of a Section-8 certificate and food stamps. That is not the way to go, but Lady C is well on her way if she goes through with this!!

I'm glad to see you back. I'm one of those who have followed you since ATSB & Beyond. I was so glad to see this one evolve. I hope whatever the issues were, they are resolved now.

Hmph, seems to me that it would've been easy (and allowable) to post something as soon as negotiations with Christian Hang Suite started and things began to get too busy. Something like: "New episodes of 'The Saved and the Restless' are currently on hold. We will update our fans on the status of forthcoming episodes when we have more information. Thank you all for all of your patience and support."
Now, how hard would that have been?

To Everyone,
Thank you so much for continuing to check this site for the new episode. It posted about 20 minutes ago (sept. 20). This current delay (the longest in my writing career) is due to my normal busy-ness and Christian Hang Suite making some decisions on the overall project. Now that we have come to terms on how we are going to proceed, we are back on track. Sometimes negotiations don't allow me to speak as I would've liked weeks ago to update all the fans of my work. But I thank God for Christian Hang Suite and the opportunity to write The Saved and The Restless.
I wasn't able to keep everyone abreast of the situation because neither I nor CHS knew what it was. But now that we are back, I am excited about ending this season with the season finale and moving into Season II for next year.
For all of my As the Sands Burn and Beyond fans, you all have been with me for over 8 years (some of you) and I SO appreciate your support. THANK YOU!
And for all my new fans, I look forward to you enjoying what God puts on my heart to write. THANK YOU as well!
Please enjoy episode 44 which just posted and look for episode 45 next week.

There are many things to say in regards to having timely episodes. However, I would request of the fans to pray for the author and encourage him. You never know what someone may be going through. If there is something lacking, inquire and see if there is something you can do to lighten their load.
To the author.. I truly enjoy reading your work. Keep on allowing God to use you. You are in my prayers.

It's sad that it has to come to this. I think we so truly wanted to support this and hope that it succeeds, but week after week we get nothing. Now I understand how busy a person can get and sometimes they just have too much on their plate and can't get to everything, but the curteous and professional thing would have been for him to at least acknowledge that he hasn't posted anything in over a month and to let us know whats going on. Last time his excuse was that they were revamping the site....looks the same to me but I'm not to judge. I don't condone the bashing of one of our people trying to rise up because too often we hold each other down, but this time our brother has done it to himself. Its sad to lose an ever growing fan base due to lack of common curteousy. I wish you the best D.

Im so done with this mess...This is the same thing we had to endure when he had the As the Sands Burns and Beyond the Burning Sands soaps...We begged and begged for more we kept getting empty promises...I am just flat out sick of it...D, you have just lost one fan...I was rooting for you, but I just can't take this anymore...I have tried and tried again to be patient but mu patience has just about worn out...you can at least post something letting us know if you have in fact decided to stop this one too!!!

Gossiping and backbiting church folk: just one of the downfalls of the church today. So many wounded folk go home and sit town because they're tired of all the lies and deceit and gossip.
It really is a shame.
